| comp ride height?
Building my first mrc for comps, building one from several so I'm mixing and matching parts. Decided to go with an aluminum top, a little top heavy, so I wanted to keep it as low cog as possible. Belly is at 2.25", compressed, 1.5", lifting the front tire I can get 3.5" under the tire before it raises the rear. Tires have smaller foams, so a little of the compression is in the tires. How is this sounding? |

I'd say you look like a candidate for a full-droop suspension. Many tubers use them due to the high body cg. And if anyone dis's you for the suspension, remind him the current 1.9 national champion won with a full-droop mini.

The shocks that are on it now are the smaller losi late model shocks: losb1289, 2 1/8" eye to eye, just about 1 1/2" compressed, should I go with these, or go with the standard mrc shocks?

the smaller late model shocks are okay because they are shorter you wont get tons of articulation but to much is bad personaly ur ride height would be a little tall for me but its something that you have to experament with and find what is going to work for you
