Default Lipo Charger/Batter for 1/18 Losi Mini Rock Crawler

Does the Mini Rock Crawler have a Lipo Batt/Charger combo like the Micro does?

My local hobby town had two of these in the discount bin the other day. I think they stopped making them maybe. I almost picked them up but I already have one and have a larger lipo pack from losi I use most of the time instead.

Can you find a diff lipo charger? An diff lipo bats? Or does it have to be losi?

Nano tech bats hold up great an make lots of sizes perfect for these little rigs.. my favorite is a 300 mah 35-70c for like 4$ a piece.. lots of punch.. not a lot of run time but easy to have a bunch.. then up to 350-370-450mah..

You can make any lipo work provided it's small enough to fit in/on the chassis and has the right connector and polarity. Probably would stick with a 2s on the stock ESC. Higher mah will make for longer run times, but larger in size, too. As for the charger, any balancing lipo charger will work. Just make sure you have charging leads to match the connector on your battery.

Can anyone find any lipos/charger online, preferrably Amazon that will work with a stock mini crawler connection?

I'm sure you could, but you'd honestly be better off switching to a more non-proprietary connector, like a Deans. Opens the door for more options for just about everything.

Yeah these stock mini-tamiya plugs are enough for a ni-mh but i think you'll melt them with LiPo power...

Better switch to Deans or EC3 plugs, and if you go with Deans, most batteries come stock with these connectors so once you've changed your ESC plug you're good to go !
