| Blew up my hh 22t mtm...
Blew the part that the brushes ride on off the back of the armature and pretty much destroyed the rest of the motor (5-6yrs old) .... Now I need to find a replacement motor. I would like something a little faster, should I go brushless? Recommendations? I'm already running a sidewinder micro and 2s lipo batteries. Thanks! Last edited by ixer; 07-26-2014 at 07:09 PM. |

Team brood makes a good mini motor. Also, switching to 3s will get you some more wheel speed too. And to prevent motor issues in the future I'd suggest a larger spur gear to lower the gearing and strain on the motor. It isn't hard to do the spur gear mod too. |

Anyone had any experience with the HobbyKing Donkey ST380L motors? -- If not that Team Brood Frenzy looks intriguing.
