|  Vaterra Slickrock ESC Problem
Went out crawling today and the Slickrock stopped going in reverse and the drag brake failed. Troubleshooting revealed that it is definitely the esc - anyone else have any issues? Will call horizon tomorrow... Any other esc you would recommend?

HH Br mini, fxr, micro sidewinder, etc.. All make for a good esc replacement

My sons went out in less than 2 hours of run time. Same thing no reverse, or drag brake.

Just fyi guys you can set the esc to do forward only. Or you can set it to forward/reverse with drag brake. Maybe the programming need to be done again. The manual states how to do it

My Revers just went out on my Vaterra abd lost the drag break also. This truck is only one week old. Did you ever solve the problem?

A replacemental esc for the slickrock is 20 dollars shipped for a new one which was removed from an rtr unit might be worth the time just to buy another one. But did you try and reset the esc to see if it solves your problem?
