Xtreme 380 here as well. Run them in all my rigs. At the moment, one with a Micro Sidewinder on 3s, another with a stock Exceed MS16 ESC on 2s, and another going into a new build at some point with an undecided ESC/battery setup. Love em!

I've ran HH mini torquemaster's, a brood frenzy, and the stock motor. Now I'm on a novak 380 with a losi xcelerin esc. Works pretty good. I want to get a cobalt though so I have a backup set.

380 on 3s? Interesting.....

I've always wondered if my Losi Insane would handle 3s, but never tried it. The Br-mini that runs it won't mind.

May have to try that for fun.

If I burn it up, I'll switch to the 380 helicopter motor, for the price.

Which 3s battery are you squeezing into the mini?

I was using Thunder Power 325s, which are a 140C discharge battery. Lots of torque geared at 9/64, but still not enough zip. Tried adjusting the throttle curve on the Micro Sidewinder and still couldn't get much more out of it. My daughter's car will just about do backflips on 2s with a stock Exceed ESC, and will flat walk on mine. I'm really not that impressed, and am looking for another 2s option to complement stock gearing. There's $90 in batteries down the drain...

Well, that's unexpected.

Thanks for the info.
