Default DravTech Mini Parts

I have gotten questions of what parts DravTech offers for the Mini, so I thought I would make thread to summarize it all in one place.

Chassis and Links

The SuDuZero mini chassis

The SuDuZero chassis is made for 1.9 Comp crawlers and fulfills the current RCCA rules. The chassis are made to be used with the MRC transmission.

The chassis is made out of 1.5 mm twill weave carbon fiber with a matte finish and comes with stainless hardware and delrin spacers.

Also included are 3 CF motor spacers (1×2.0 mm and 2×1.5mm thick).

SuDuZero Clear Skin Set

Clear set of panels for the SuDuZero for you to paint it to your liking.

SuDuZero Upper and Lower Links

Upper and lower links for the SuDuZero chassis and the SvUsZero axles. The lower links are made from aluminum and the upper ones for a combination of aluminum and carbon fibre.

The links do not include rod ends. The links are made for Traxxas 5349 rod ends.

You can order all these parts from www.dravtech.net

Chassis and Links

SvUsZero Axles

The SvUsZero axles are made for 1.9 Mini comp crawlers and the MRC diff gears. The axles has been designed to have a low center of gravity by placing the servo behind the axle compared to above as on the stock MRC axles. The SvUsZero axles also have angled off center pumpkins to give more favorable drive shaft angles.

These axles has been designed to work with the SvUsZero Chubs and 1.9 Mini Knuckles. If you rather want to use XR10/Wraith chubs and knuckles the front axle can come with splines for XR10/Wraith chubs and knuckles instead.

The shock mounts have 2 mm holes so stock MRC shocks can be used. The holes can however be drilled up to 3 mm too allow other shocks.

There is aluminum inserts for the M2 screws to fasten the diff cover.

SvUsZero Chubs

The chubs are made for the SvUsZero axles and the 1.9 Mini Knuckles. The chubs are of a non 8* design.

The chubs have cutouts that line up with similar cutouts in the SvUsZero axles to allow for more steering.

SvUsZero Knuckles

The DravTech 1.9 Mini knuckles are a licensed Dlux Fad design and are designed for the SvUsZero axles, the SvUsZero Chubs and Axial Wraith/XR10 universals.

The knuckles has build in weight holders. Each holder can hold 5 tungsten slugs. You can use the DravTech tungsten weights, or the Derby Pinewood 0.5 oz cylinders. The knuckles weight about 92 g (3.25 oz) with 5 tungsten slugs.

The knuckle weight holders are designed to place the weights nice and low. Due to this, normal 1.9″ wheels cannot be used. Please use the 1.9″ Tri-Blade Cyclone CF Wheels to be able to use these weight holders.

The knuckles uses large bearings and balls + bearings instead of kingpin bushings.

SvUsZero Rear Weight holders

The rear weight holders mount up on the lockouts on the SvUsZero axles. Each holder can hold 4 tungsten slugs. You can use the DravTech tungsten weights, or the Derby Pinewood 0.5 oz cylinders. Each weight holder weights about 64 g (2.26 oz) with 4 tungsten weights.

The weight holders are designed to place the weights nice and low. Due to this, normal 1.9″ wheels cannot be used. Please use the 1.9″ Tri-Blade Cyclone CF Wheels to be able to use these weight holders.

Tungsten Weights

These are tungsten cylinders that fit the fit the 1.9 Mini Knuckles and the SvUsZero Rear Weight Holders.
The weights have the same dimensions as the Pinewood Derby 0.5 oz slugs, but have a bit different apperence.

Wheels

1.9" Tri-Blade Cyclone's

The 1.9″ Tri-Blade Cyclone Wheels are sold as a set of 4 complete wheels, but without any hubs.

These wheels require some special mounting of the tires. It is the same as for DLux Fab's Loaded Dice wheels. The procedure can been seen here.

The outer face is made out of 2.0 mm twill weave carbon fiber with a matte finish and the inner rings from 1.5 mm twill weave carbon fiber with a matte finish. The wheels comes with stainless steel hardware and 16 mm long delrin spacers.

The wheels need a thin piece of plastic or similar wraped around the spacers to keep the foam in place. If you want, you can order some printed parts (seen in the picture below) from the DravTech shop at Shapeways.

Transmission

CF Motor Plate for the MRC/Slickrock Transmission

A replacement motor plate made from carbon fibre for the Losi Mini Rock Crawler or the Vaterra Slickrock transmission. The motor plate is made out of 2.0 mm twill weave carbon fiber with a matte finish.

Aluminum Inserts for the MRC/Slickrock Transmission

4 aluminum inserts for the bottom holes of the Losi Mini Rock Crawler, or the Vaterra Slickrock transmission. The inserts require that you drill out the holes with a 2.5 mm OD drill before you screw in the inserts. A dab of CA glue is recommended to add to the outside of the insert before inserting them to make sure they stay in place.

Mini Motor Spacers

This is a package of 3 (1 2.0mm and 2 1.5mm thick spacers) mini motor spacers. The spacers are mounted between the motor and the motor plate to bring the pinion closer to the spur gear. These are the same spacers that are included in the SuDuZero chassis.

The spacers are made from twill weave carbon fiber with a matte finish.

Mini Wrapter

The Wrapter is an adapter that allows you to use Axial Wraith c-hubs, knuckles and universals drive shaft on the Losi Mini Rock Crawler axles. This however requires some modification on the universals drive shafts. The Wrapter also has a build in lower link and shock mount that uses M3 hardware.

Rear Lockout

Servo, 4-link and electronics mount

Combined servo and 4-link mount, it also has a build in plate for a battery or electronics. You can also mount a optional plate under the build in plate. The servo mount is angled so you can have better drive shaft clearance and still a level servo.

Just went to check out the 1.9 mini chassis on the website but no pics of the chassis pop up. Would love to see the color options before I purchase. I will try again tonight. Thanks

I havent had time to upload the pictures yet I am sorry to say.

The color options are the ones listed in the drop down meny. Please note that it is only the color of the skid that you can choose. The frame is normal twill weave CF and the spacers black delrin.
