I say..........you cannot point out per course.........only point out per gate, timed only for ties. 20-30 points per gate would be sufficient.

Well good news, I won't be taking 1st place this weekend I got to work on Sat. I was suppose to be work to day and tomorrow and be off for Sat. but thats all changed now I will be off to day and work Fri. and Sat. :-(

That would be me! This will be my 1st comp, but I'll deal with the rules how they are but I would say No time Limit and I don't know what you mean by "no point out" (I haven't really read the rules yet so...) and as far as # of gates, It doesn't really matter to me.

This won't that different, were just having gate point outs. You point out at 20 and set the truck with the rear wheels inside the gate you couldn't make.

It might be raining anyway. Still waiting on the weather man to get it right.

I'd hate that too, but if I wake up Saturday morning and it's coming down, your almost here, what do we do? I'm not running in the rain. I guess we could put trash bags on the trucks and cut our holes for the tires. :-P

It's only a 30% chance right now anyway. 50% for Friday.

I'll watch the weather again tonight and see if they say anymore and I'll post up Friday nights weather update too.

I'll keep an eye on it myself. I have to watch the weather everyday anyways b/c of the work I do so I'll be on the lookout. I posted up earlier today about the rules and I didn't see anyone respond about the "no points out" rule. What is that?

Yea, just keep watching, anything above 50% is my usual rule to look out for, b/c weather men will never call it right.

The point out rule is that if we have 20pt/gate, then you have 20pt before that gate is dead and you move onto the next gate run. Say you hit both gate markers, you've pointed out or you just can't get past the gate say to hell with it, you take the 20pt hit and move to the next gate run. No point out for the course means you have the ability to finish the course and don't need to worry about a set maximum point total.

Well we'll wish for NO rain b/c it was supposed to rain here today and it never did so I'm going to be positive about the whole deal b/c I'm really ready for this.

I believe I have a body on mine! I'm ready no matter what. A little rain, sleet, or snow doesn't scare me. I'm down and I'm ready to hed that way ASAP unless everyone chickens out! I'd really hate for this not to happen just b/c there may be a little bad weather...just dress appropriately. Here's what I got.
