wheres the mountain bike trail? back when my cousin used to live around pville, he said they used to go mountain bike riding, but that may have been when he was in college and it might have been around hammond. not sure.

ive wanted to find something at the highland road park for years, but never take the time to get out there, im sure there has to be something, its acres of roling hills, with what could be a natrual ditch running through it. gota watch out for the frisbie golfers tho, almost got hit in the head once in a ditch full of rocks once. haha.

OMG!!!! WE FOUND IT!!! take a lil drive to baton rouge and we found this mountain bike trail that doesnt even look like louisiana. IT HAS IT ALLL!! from sloppy muddy trails that 2.2 dont get stuck in to 3 story tall hills with dozens of dozens of comp lines of all levels of experience. it took us 4 hours to do the entire course(easy and hard side) and we didnt even layout anything yet. just owning everything in our path.

wutcha guys think? this could be our spot!!!

(bbq pits & tables found near trails!)

we as a team are off mon. and tues. im off pretty much all the time and theres a coupple things here in prairieville to drive on.

we need to pencil in a meet up at the trails sometime. were both here avil. for 3-8-10

woooh....ok im back me and james (alpine) and 3 others did come mud bogging 2day.

the trails are off hooper. its the brec park and i dont think 1.9s will make it. in fact a couple of us are thinking of 1/8 scales just for it. if you bring 1.9s it will be a hell of a run! some of it is not possible for anything....... but there are def at least 3 lines that the 1.9s can make. there are at least 10 lineups for 2.2 of all difficulties. and the trails on the way there are perfect for those super scale cc01's ect..... it was great for anything really. didnt get any pictures of the trails. that was half the day and they were far from smooth.

it was a great find for any off roader and any club or meetup.

we should have a "mini" meeting and lay out some courses and plan out a day.
quite a few ppl are off on 3-8-10....

I would like to go and meet some peps out there, but it would have to be on a weekend for me. And after looking at the pics, it does not look like the blackwater park.
