I like either one the same, myself. Buy whichever is on sale. Brisket is up to 140* internal, got all night to get to 195, things are looking good and smelling delicious. |

We were still running courses and breaking trucks at that point. And guess what? No pics! There will be video up later tonight I hope. Carnage from the 2 courses ran today as well as I can remember.. 2 sets of XR tranny gears, one truck was full VP with stock gears, the other had the 9mm upgrades and Hot Racing hardened gears. Losi Nightcrawler smoked a motor. Losi Comp Crawler burnt a slipper. Axial T1E sportsman rig ripped servo off a couple times. Axial SSS rig broke torsion link. Was probably good that you had to work. Thanks for coming out James, glad you had a good time, we will to it again soon!

Carnage list continued... Losi MOA pulled link out of mount, XR broken rod end, Minor head wound from flying body pin(?!) It was a good time, and I don't think anyone will complain that it was easy. |

well i fixed my broke torsion link, replaced the gears in my front and rear axle ( thank you TC09minilosi) , now im making some beadlock rings out of some washers and adding 4oz to my rear wheels, ordered a new vw body and a new 45t motor, hopefully a lil more wheel speed will help me thru some of those hairy situations

Shell, good to meet you and everyone else, I had a great time! Definitely will be coming back. Hopefully I will be back with a comp rig and not just sportsman! Get that 1.9 together so I have some more competition! Can't wait to see the videos! If only I was breaking over and over. . . oh well, need to get the kinks worked out of a new rig.

You definitely need to come down and practice with me, was good to have someone around who has done some comps, made the scoring/judging easier for sure. How long was the drive? Tell your boys what they missed...

Really? I bet you weren't actually working, scaredy cat. Here's one of Cory coming up Told You So, and Beefy dropping off of Beercan from early in the morning: A closeup of Beefy: LOL, these were the only 2 pics I got all day. I have a bunch of video clips to edit together though, and with the rain coming, I'm not even sure if it will upload through my WildBlue. Might be a good day to go to a coffeeshop and scoop up some free wifi. |

2.5 hours, that's not bad at all. If you have something like this rock garden near where you live, I will drive up, for sure. Just an option. Also, we moved about 6-7 tons of stone last weekend at a friend's house to create another local garden. And Bcampisi is talking about adding a substantial amount of rock to his site. |
