I am in Bangor, I usually go around the house. But as time, money allows I'd like to meet more people and scale around.

Owls head is an a,aging place if you have a crawler, lots of rocks. But damn cold this time of year.

Mount Waldo isn't that far from you, it's in Winterport. Also if you head north, Baxter State park area has some great places too...

There's a few of us that get together around the Waterville, augusta area. We get together and go find a few places to crawl and scale around at.

I live in the Dover-Foxcroft area and as soon as the weather breaks I'm going to do some crawling at the Lowe's Bridge ( Covered Bridge) on the Piscataquis river. Lots of rocks and in the summer the river gets so low i'm sure you could crawl acrost it.

Just wanted to post up that a few ppl have been getting together from GLT to scale at the shop, usually 3-4 people, always looking for more and we do travel. Bar harbor, Madison by the river, shawmut, summerhaven. There have been talks of a club or more organized get togethers or crawler comps if anyone would be interested

I would come up to Bangor anytime you want to run scalers.

Next time you guys come down to the Bar Harbor area you should let me know. I have a wraith and someday I'll finish my class 1 hilux. I sold my comp berg when I moved back to Maine because it didn't seem like anyone was into it but It's good to hear about a club being discussed. We could always setup a g6 if there was enough interest since it seems there are more scalers around then comp rigs.

What school do you go to? I'm ready to go crawling whenever you are.

Someone told me at the local hobby shop that there is a Crawler day loosely planned next Sunday the 18th at Bradbury Mountain. Don't know who is organizing it.
