I got a new "trail" rig last night, can't wait till sunday to spank it through the woods. Are we meeting top or bottom of Battie?

Top works for me. Theres a great area to the right of the tower , we played around a bit the first time. Ide love to get back over there. Great selection on things to climb. Noticed the other areas are a lot of smooth ledge.

I wish I could make it but it will be a month or so before I can make it back down. Is that place closed if it snows?

No, its open, just snowy, but you can't drive to the top. I've spent a few new year eve's up there on the tower...

mt battie is a state park. not federally run so yes its open. even if its closed, theres 4 other parking lots that you dont have to pay to get in.
