Have you tried free-wheeling the drivetrain with the motor out or pinion off? It's not a gear mesh problem?

Best to rule out the simple stuff first.

Good luck man!
It free wheels ok, and engages/disengages 4wd ok. I'm still going to crack EVERYTHING open and look for bad spots. I had a roasted wheel bearing in the rear axle, but it was still the same afterwards.

A fix is enroute, if it gets delivered on time.

My rig is now self aware....and told me Broncoholic is going to lose.

But then again, I think anyone could have told me that.

I think I fixed it. It was just a bunch of little things. I used liquid electrical tape on some of the connections to wire in the BEC and it came off causing a short. There was some binding also due to the phatties. The hex that I was using is not quite deep enough, and as a result, when I tightened down the wheels, they would rub on my straight axle adapters. There were a few other things.

Charging it now to see how it goes.
