Hey Everyone,

THIS SUNDAY (JULY 21st) is Boston Crawlers sixth outdoor event of the season.
This year marks our third visit to Breakheart and we will be meeting at the first rock feature under the power lines. Walk into the park a little ways and when you start to cross under the power lines turn Right.

To anyone who has not come to one of our events we welcome you to stop by and check it out, or enter a truck in one of our comp classes. We keep it pretty low key, Fun, but competitive.

As mentioned in our Outdoor schedule we will be running a 2.2 Pro class as well as a 2.2S class. Please see USRCCA rules to find out where your truck belongs. We will also be running a modified class for those who are new to crawling.

Again the event will be held at Breakheart Reservation in Wakefield, MA . Registration will begin at 10:00am and the competition will begin at 10:30. There will be three courses for all classes. We will be using the 2013 version of the USRCCA rules.

You can use a GPS to the following address.
Parking is located at 166 Hemlock Rd, Wakefield Ma.

There is no fee for this event. Once you park your car walk into the reservation and take the trail to the left as you enter. Look for signs to eagle rock, which will be a dirt trail to the right side of the paved trail.

As much as I want to go I do not have a truck working right now.my xr took a dunk last week in a river and my scorpion blew out the tranny .I am waiting for my speed control from novak and waiting on gears from rpp.looks like no crawling for me for a little while .I hope you guys have a good day.cya at the next one;(

Along with your normal rc crap, I highly suggest bringing:

sunscreen
umbrella
at least 3 quarts of water.

Its going to be hot as hell and I dont want anyone getting heat exhaustion.

Hey BC folk. The weather for Saturday is currently forecast to be 94 with a chance of thunderstorms and Humid, while the Forecast for Sunday is high of 79, and dryer.

Another alternative is to still host the event on Saturday but do it at Hammond Pond (in Newton) where there is a lot of shade.

Let me know what you guys think so we can make the call.

I am on board 100% doing it on Sunday if its going to be cooler, or at least having the event at a place with shade. I know this is the first time I have ever considered skipping a comp just because I'm in the sun all week and don't know if I could do another full day of it! It's been too long though, and I want the practice before Nats anyway so I'll be there no matter what we decide.

My vote is for SUNDAY
I know it will be hot in Az. but the humidity won't be anywhere near as bad.
Also I know I need to loose a few pounds but I prefer not to literally melt them off.

I'll be waiting to hear.

I am a fan of Sunday too but don't want to mess anyone up. Guys let us know if this is a problem. Going to make the call Thursday evening.

my vote would be for sunday but it may not count because i'm not sure i will be able to make it out either day this weekend.
