Default Building CFX-W, broke part...

I just got a CFX-W kit and was at the final stages of putting it together and I accidentally broke one of the upper link mounts.
(The small part here)

I couldn't get the ball to slide into it so I was trying to pry it apart a tiny bit and snapped one of the ears.

Does anyone know of an metal replacement for that part or anywhere I can get the stock plastic part?

Hi Robert,

You could place an image of the broken piece, I just received my Kit and the parts you comment are quite strong.

The force applied must have been very strong so that they would break. I think that for now this piece by MST is only ABS plastic, you would have to locate some other manufacturer that could have the same measure.

Here the original part is available:

I don't have any pictures of it, but I just broke off one of the ears. It was still hanging on by a thread so I just put a screw through it and called it good for now. It's going to be a while before I get it fully operational. I had seen it on AsiaTees last night but I was concerned about shipping speed without paying a ton. I just gave in and ordered the part with some beadlock wheels. I was hoping MST made it in aluminum but it doesn't look like they do.

Now I need to figure out how to shorten my wheelbase by 25mm to fit my body. I don't think I can just cut 12.5mm off all of the links, I need to draw it out and do the trigonometry to calculate link lengths.
