Default Chassis Servo Mount

I have been working on a chassis servo mount for my MST CFX. I uploaded it to Thingiverse (2630337) and Shapeways (6806310) if you are interested in printing it yourself or having it printed. I am really pleased with how well it worked out. I have nearly zero bump steer. I used my kits existing links so I didn't have to purchase any other hardware/parts.

This part replaces the existing cross brace so you can still use stock bumpers.

Very nice.

The 2 things that have held me back from a CFX (aside from the stack of projects that I need to finish ) has been the plastic lockers and the lack of CMS.

Looks like I am only one step away from getting a CFX now.

MST has a steel locker you can get. I’m gonna see how the plastic one holds out. The plastic seems good quality. I’ve been happy with my build so far. I’m working on a receiver/esc box that replaces the stock rear brace.

I’ll check tonight. Maybe the part wasn’t setup for the new printer.

Default Chassis Servo Mount

They are not offering the HP Nylon for retail sale but you can go to Thingiverse and download the parts for free and have them printed any where you like.

^^ what he said; I think we'd all like to know eye-to-eye measurement.

I used the upper link for the 242mm wheel base.

I used one of the front upper links as a panhard. I designed it to fit with little to no adjustment. I have the 252mm wheelbase. The kit comes with all the links, just use the 242 or 252 and adjust it out where you need it. What you want to look for is the axle to sit evenly left to right compared to the chassis.

Bought for a Cfx-w, as the frame is the same.
Happy to report it installs without issues.
For the axle Panhard mount I've made a super easy alu piece, bolted to the two bolts for the link mount.
Geometry is perfect with zero bump steer. Great upgrade!
