Default CMX Avalanche

Always wanted to do an Avalanche.
First body I found was Too big for anything i had..
Second body was just right for the short wheelbase CMX.
Ordered up some metal links and shocks.
Installed Howler Custom Battery tray made for SCX10 and the front bolt holes line
up perfectly.
Set of JunFac Sidebars and a few funkie bits and tray is fitted.

Had to move rear shock mount Far forward and Body fits nicely.

Picked up some RC4wd 1.55 Ground Hawg tires and SSD 1.55 Steel D Hole
Beadlock wheels.

Debating on white or black wheels tho..

Looks good, but you may hate the way the rear will get hung up bad.

I was thinking of adding a rear skid plate to help it slide over instead of getting hung up on the bumper.

Looking at the body a bit more, it looks like the body wheelbase was shortened to match toy chassis.
Son of a Gun..

Radio Shack Vs New Bright size.
I think the New Bright has the rear wheelwells in the correct location.

Love it! The CMX/CFX is a great little chassis, and there are a ton of unique smaller size bodies out there.

Took it out today and ran it.
35T motor did great and didn't get hot at all.
I'm thinking about doing a little cutting on the tire treads for added grip but tires did well..
