Ok, I got my HD Gear sets yesterday and put them in. I also ordered the hpi spider gear set with the intention of using those in the rear diff. I set them side by side with the Axial spider gears and found that they look identical. I couldnt find a single difference in between the Axial and the HPI sets, they even had the same exact finish. I have come to the conclusion that if they were not made by the same manufacturer, I can not see what difference there is..I am posting the pics for you to see...

Axials on the left, still have a bit of lube on them and HPI on the right.

spent some time at the property where I played in the sand piles and jumping the little piles of sand and dirt, no video but pics of the aftermath...

I was pleased with the performance today and the Monster Beetle worked very well with the hardened under drive gear sets...

I dug around tonight and found the lamborghini body and cage I bought off of PIMPNROCKS a couple years ago and mounted it up on the monster beetle...the beetle body was done..almost split in half from all the rolling and wheelies.. Here are a few pics in the garage tonight..

I took it out today for a little bashing in the unfinished yard.... It did really well, had one bad roll, but everything survived on the body, even the mirrors! I thought sure that one of those or the spoiler would break off...
