Looks like the only rules that change are #1 and #2 just for the fact that almost all of us are running Wraiths or something very close to it. For guys like Farmer who are running faster motors....that can be tuned down in the radio to make it closer to the same speed as the other trucks, with out making him change up his whole truck. Tires must be scale, no rovers, sedonas, chisels...ect. I would say Ripsaws are a scale tire. Wraiths must have a driver. (this would also count as one of your five scale items) Wheel base limit....14"inches...? Last edited by BLKXJ 96; 04-05-2012 at 07:20 PM. |

1. Change the battery to a 2S for the G6 stuff. 2. Teach the nut behind the wheel to drive I'd be in but no truck. I have plans for one...but not what is expected at all. Would be more scale than most of the trucks. Would suck at crawling like a real 1:1 of it would, but the smiles would be pretty accurate. | |

Well......I had some play time today again with the wraith in Kentucky About 25 minutes of play time=another inner pinion bearing exploded, both Felsenfest lockers with red locktite loosened up, and blew another pin in the mip Looks like this idea is done. Will be redoing the rig when I get home, but the motor and 3s is staying Axles and driveshafts see ya Later, Farmer |

Farmer, for what it's worth, my 3300 hasn't destroyed everything in its path like your 4000 seems to have. Most of it is still original with the exception of the universals and vp knuckles/C's. I played with the cheat timing and from a dead stop on pavement if I roll into the throttle it'll first pick on tire up and carry it out about ten feet, then the 8 degrees of cheat comes on and picks the other front tire up and carries a wheelie out another 20-30 feet where you either back out slightly and it settles down or you stay in it and it back flips and balls itself up in a spectacular display of a cart-wheeling rig. I've probably got a total of 2 hours running this setup though.... Its still not fixed from the last time out on 3s. Ohh, for what it's worth, Im thinking 2s in a wraith is pretty much all this thing can handle, it's too top heavy and it just doesn't have the suspension to control that much power without constant maintenance. I'm considering swapping it into the slash sooner than I planned. |

Custom built a light setup for my Wraith, and added some scale goodies. Any specific date being discussed yet? Would be great if we could do a Saturday. |
