Default Scale work force work party and BBQ This Saturday May 11th

Ok guys lets get this kicked off properly.

Lee(honchoforever1) is providing the scale and shortcourse space for our use this summer. Yaaaa Lee!!

And he has a killer start to the offroad park(Lee post the pics you got)! Some very bad ass details and courses!

But,,, he has alot more work that needs to be done to rough in the remaining features. Like diggin, placing rock, raking, Digging holes, situating rocks, digging trenches and so on!

I thought if we got 5-10 guys together and case of beer(or whatever you like) and a few brauts and some burgers we could make a fun day of designing a general labor we could be done with the rough in about 4 hours, then bbq Lunch and be home by 5pm at the latest!

I think this would be a great way to kick off our scale 4x4 adventures this summer!! And who knows, might even beable to get Lee to host our scale 4x4 jamboree I mentioned in a different thread.

Post up if you can make it! or if sunday works best for everybody may do it Sunday, but I know many would rather Saturday. Who knows Maybe work on Sunday too if there is enogh to do, but Sunday is Mothers Day. Not sure Lee will be available on Sunday.

Oh yeah BRING A ROCK OR TWO!! and whoever brings the biggest/most rocks wins a prize(to be announced Wed)!!

Thanks Lee

It would be awesome to have you guys over to give me a hand. This has been a pretty large undertaking and any help you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated

If you have ever been over you know I have a large area to work with. I had a lot already built at the end of last season. But as soon as the snow was gone I took it all out and started completely over now the feel is more of a scale orv area.

I really want everyone's input on this too make it over the top and super fun for everyone. This is not going to be built in one day. This is going to be a constantly evolving area just for the scale trucks.

I also have a buddy that has been building these awesome 1/10 scale bridges, picnic tables, fences, and buildings to help give it that feel of true scaling and those perfect picture back drops. Here's the DNR station ...(still needs the tin roof put on)

So if you can make it awesome and thank you

I know with 10 or so ppl we could bust this thing out in 5 hours or so

Just a thought

Also we need some 20' x 5' of 5mill Rubber mat and a 20glhr pound pump
Does anyone have one laying around they would be willing to donate
so I dont have to go buy one

No promises, but I will try to make it over for at least a little while.
The little woman has me tied up with wedding planning stuff.
Rick, I'll take a look at what I have. Not sure I have a 20 gpm pump but might know where I can get one cheap.
If you need rubber matting, there is a place in Freeland called Exotic Rubber. I know, bad name.
Give them a call, they have pieces from cutting gaskets all the time. I can stop and pick it up and bring it down with me.
