Klampyz XZJ mini-mine cherokee

I got some chrissy money a couple weeks ago and finally bit the bullet and bought the only model jeep i found that was even remotely close to my own personal jeep cherokee XJ.

this is my 1:1, stock atm, but have some small plans like 2-3inch lift, 33's some bar work and a probable roof rack/basket.



this is a pretty crappy pic of what i think i hope to acheive.



and so heres my start.


RC4WD rock crushers reduced down to a scale 33inch tire.



bonnet cut



guards squared up



mock up of an acceptable ride height





and a comparo to a full size rock crusher.

where did you find that body. Is it a zj and what scale. Im trying to build a scaler copy of my 1:1 rig

1/20 Lindberg ZJ . sometimes found on Ebay. plenty of builds on here using them if you want more pix

its a lindberg kit, 1/20 scale. i got it on ebay.

i just had a quick look and theres none on there at the moment, but did find this. its the tamiya 1/24 kit.

geez $50 and 24$ shipping from Australia? I know the 1/24 Tamiya is rare but thats expensive! If your looking for 1/24 scale I have one Id sell you for less. or you can just wait for a 1/20. they sometimes pop up for around $30-$40

I got a couple 1/20 ZJ's laying around, I had one listed in the fs section a while back for 40 shipped and never sold. I just sent chevy one as well for a build of his.

started narrowing my qlo axles today. might have to become one piece axles... anyway.. heres pics!






as you can see its still a little wide, but still narrower than it was. and, my 1:1 will be getting more offset wheels so its not far off the original plan!!
