| DanDares Orlandoo 1/35 F-150
Here's my 'finished' F-150 Pretty standard build, super fiddly but quite pleased with how it drives. I wouldn't mind a little more wheel speed though. Spec, 150rpm motor 2 in 1 ESC HK-5320 Ultra micro servo I'm going to copy 'jimbo wa's idea & have ordered a few sets of Black chrome Losi Micro DT wheel sets as I also find the ground clearance is the biggest hindrance to it's performance. Funnily enough my dad has shown interest in building one so I might find myself accidently ordering the alloy upgrades when ordering his kit |

Very nice The green is a great colour for it and it looks so much better on the micro DT rims.

Looks good. Did you sacrifice the Orlandoo wheels to mate to the Micro T wheels? |

I had to dremel the lug off the outside face of the DT rims to just beyond flush to accept the threaded part of the axle then create the slot using a scalpel and needle files. Each wheel took about 10-15mins. I also had to trim down both the front bumper & the wheel arches to prevent the tyres catching. The combination of the smaller axle yokes & larger tyres really transforms this little fella into quite a capable truck. Last edited by DanDare; 06-04-2016 at 01:34 AM.

Do you have pics of the mods to the DT wheels. I think I grasp the idea, pics are worth 1000 words... I ordered the wheels many many months ago and then forgot who did the mod so no work has been accopmlished. Also, can you share a bit more on the motor swap ? Did you have to change anything or add more components ? Links to parts would be awsome. |

I didn't change the motor, just upgraded the gears. It has the 150rpm motor. I'll get some close ups of the mods to the wheels as soon as I get a chance & post them up. (It was jimbo_wa on here who I got the idea from to change the wheels btw as he done it first) |

It comes with plastic axles, driveshafts & gears, the upgrades cost more than the truck I'll measure the width when I get the pics of the modded wheels... |

The upgrades arent too bad the axles look smaller then the stock plastic housings. Definitely be getting one of these soon. I have just the body for a build! how fast is it compared to a stock losi micro? Slower im assuming? I want something very smooth in the low end. Dont care much about wheel speed but dont want it so slow that I just pick it up and move it all the time Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

Truck looks awesome!! Do you have problems with it leaning right over to one side from the torque (never thought I'd say that about something with so little power lol). Mine just flops over to one side as soon as I start driving forward, and I have to reverse to get it to straighten back up.

Very nice paint job, aluminum axles and steel driveshafts look great too! Jimbo_Wa's Losi DT wheel mod really adds to these little trucks looks and capability. BTW, your driveshaft yokes are out of phase. EDIT: Nice that your dad got one too and enjoys them. |

Looks great. At first I was like, " nice but I would have gone with ALL the metal parts available like I did with my Trekker"...I scroll down and there they are! Very nice work!
