Default Caged tj

Well ive had this body for a few months now. New bright 1/20 tj I believe. Full interior no top. It was black with the false mud on it. Anyways I knew it would be perfect so I scooped it up. Finally got around to doing something with it.
Stock losi drivetrain
Will be buying some of Jim Frey's wheels and a ddt motor. Post a few pics here and there on the fb page figured I'd post it here as well.

Fenders already chopped up a tad

Decided to go with an 80% caged build

Brass frame started

Post more shortly

Update! So I didnt like the losi gear so I traded it off for a sumo. This will give me a lower crawling speed. Wider axles so I can use less offset wheels. And just better looking.
Stock sumo trans

Chop chop

Gear motor going up front so I can keep an interior

Front links mocked up. Cms made.

That's pretty sweet would aluminum be a little lighter unless it's better to have a little more weight in the frame
