| Orlandoo Hunter OH35A01 Jeep Build
Decided to get an Orlandoo kit so that I can drive it around the desk/room. My first micro scale rig, and now it has me contemplating getting some other micros. Build Details: Orlandoo Hunter OH35A01 Jeep Wrangler kit! 1206 SMD LEDs in Red and Yellow off of eBay Xtra Speed Aluminum Clock Mass Beadlock Wheel This is the progress so far. Brand new kit! Begin Build! forgot to take picture of putting gearbox together. Test fitting and test wiring. Eventually had to relocate the esc and receiver Test fitting body I'm now working on painting the body and waiting for my JST charge lead to come in so that I can charge the battery. I've ordered some pre-wired SMD's for the rear as the kit provided ones just don't fit all that well. Hopefully the pre-wired ones do and are much sturdier. I've also ordered the Xtraspeed aluminum wheels, so those should look real nice. Other than wiring up the rest of the lights, painting the body and assembling it.... the only issue I have is to figure out how to get rid of the pulsing. I've used brake caliper grease to see if it would help any on the axle gears. Loosening the axle housing a little seemed to help as it seems that having it secured too tight made the pulsing worse. If it takes time to get rid of the pulsing by wearing in the gears.... I wonder how long it would take. Last edited by soze; 07-13-2020 at 11:19 PM. |

Looking sharp! Pulsing goes away after two battery charges - everybody says that. It was true in my case. Refer to the last page of manual and check if your diffs are at right angle to the drive shaft to eliminate any binding there - all you can do.

These came in the other day. 1206 SMD LEDs in Red and Yellow off of eBay These fit so much better, and I don't need to worry about breaking the solder connection. Yeah, it's a mess... Yellow lights in front... Double Reds in back... Cleaned up wiring, but it's still a mess... At least it works. Last edited by soze; 07-13-2020 at 11:20 PM. |

What is the motor you have in it? It seems faster than 120 rpm I've got with my bundle, but slower than 500 rpm I tried later. What is your take on balance between speed and torque?

For wide open space driving, 150 might be a little slow. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk

Did a little more messing around today. I need to figure out how to make a nice obstacle course for this thing. https://youtu.be/KnK5wESZ3RA https://youtu.be/PMu9IVuPbBU |

Hi sorry to post in this thread but I was wondering if someone can help with my Orlandoo. I have the kit assembled and everything appears to be working correctly except I can't get any throttle input. I'm not sure if I need to calibrate the esc (not even sure how to do that) I have the basic kit with the included electronics Any help would be appreciated Thanks |

I guess we start with the basic questions, have you bound your transmitter to the receiver, does your steering work, are you sure connections are going to the right channels on your receiver? If yes to all of the above you may have a bad ESC. When I did all the above I had full throttle control no programing to do.

Yes to all those questions which I see leads to having a bad esc. steering works great Thanks |
