Been posted a lot years ago Fungi is his username here. Micro fell off and he got out. I run some of those wheels and have two chassis from him. Good stuff.

No doubt. The Goat chassis I have is a go getter. Using a Trail Trekker drivetrain with a long can Barrage motor. It’s on some Scrambler tires with those wide HBX Devastator beadlocks now but I was running some MiClows on big Danally wheels I got from him before he got out. Moving that wheel/tire combo over to the next Fungi chassis if I ever finish it.

I’d love to see a revival of micro building. Most all you see nowadays is just bolt ons. Kinda sad. Good builders have left the forum due to the flood of 1/16s not having a proper home and the fact not many build any more.

I remember what the builds were like with the micro scale trucks,SCX 24 is a good platform that’s in your local hobby shop that doesn’t need a ton of mods just to drive (v1 of the rc4wd 110 Galende) hopefully it stays around for a while!

Scx24 is not a good platform for building off of imo. All I got to say is losi was way ahead of its time.

This thread did make me pull this off the shelf in hopes to get it finished & give it a test run before it blows up!

Does this deserve its own thread? An updated FTX! More gear reduction!

My mystical, palm reading, gypsy fortune teller who once was tried and found guilty of being a witch was struck by lightening, knocked unconscious and dreamed of gazing into her crystal ball, glimpsed a jumbled tarot card pile and predicts a new Barrage/Adventurer coming along w blurred visions of 7 other chinese company clones/rebrands/repackages. And mumbled about Team Associated but shes crazy so who knows?

The micro scaler scene is EXPLODING. For me the Hobbyplus 1/18 looks awesome, so does the Panda whatever-the-name-is-the-expensive-jeep-look-alike-w-working-reverse-lights

Off topic, why hasnt Tamiya released a proper clodbuster for the 20th century???

If the Panda micro was more main stream parts and availability I’d have it. The CR-18 I’m waiting to hear reviews of it!!
