It is hard to spend quite a bit of money (and customs) for a kit you do not know nothing about... ;)

Same thing was with the Auto RC Gekko 24... you hardly can find any infos and reviews about this truck, either - and it is also available for years now.

I would buy the Kuro King - if I knew, it is good

Just checked my tracking number. It's still somewhere over the ocean. Weird because I made 2 purchases on the same day.

I bought some scale accessories... then went back and pulled the trigger on the Kuro King. They shipped out the same day. I got the accessories yesterday, but the truck is still enroute. I guess the bigger package is moving a little slower.

I am even subscribed to some of the channels above and did already watch several of the videos.
But this does not change much - very poor information about the Gekko, nothing in "my forum".
So it is not popular at all. And availability is also poor...

It's already some years I was nearly ordering the Gekko from Ali...

I assume, if it would be really good it would be more popular?

Yay! It FINALLY showed up

But... in the build poll it posted, the Kuro King lost out to the MicroShark. I'll start the shark after xmas, and it should only take me a day or two. Then on to the King. I'll try to at least post an unboxing video. It's not usually my thing, but I'm sure a lot of you out there want to see how it was packaged. No need for a lot of photos as it looks exactly like the website. Amaze Balls!

Nice that you finally got it, really waiting for this build 👍 You can really see in the last video that the crawler is gonna be a really good performer with all the electronics stuffed under the hood and that really low COG body. I’d like to get one myself but I think I’d not have enough time because of all my other hobbies.

But I’m gonna follow your build with great interest and hope that you are gonna make it a performer instead of a looker. And I agree, finish the scx24 fast and start with this build. Although scx24 builds are also interesting as I have one myself. Maybe I’ll make a project story myself one day.

I totally got crazy with these smaller crawlers because you can make so much yourself and they are ideal because of the size as you can run them inside the house in the winter and take them with you wherever you go because of the small size.

Keep up the good work and thank you for all the videos, I watched them all.
