Default New motor options

Hey everybody. I burnt out the motor on my c10 scx24. I'm hoping to find something a little faster than the stock motor. I have the hot racing 050 motor in my jeep, but I haven't really found anything these little rigs don't have enough torque for. I know I can change the gears but I'd like to keep the torque, just go a little faster. I've gotta buy a new motor anyway, and was hoping somebody had some ideas to make it faster without spending the coin on going brushless. Any thoughts? Also I've searched, but it seems everybody wants more power, not speed.

I recently saw mofo rc do a video on the pn90 motor using his adjustable motor plate with a twenty tooth pinion (motor in stock location) and it looked really good! I got a torque beast boost 050 from mofo with a 14 tooth pinion, way better than stock but not much better speed. If I was to stay brushed the pn90 with mofos motor plate would be the ticket.

Hit up Rakhanishu_rc over on Instagram for a 130 motor plate.

His plate kit comes with a ten tooth pinion.

The plate also relocates the motor to the middle of the chassis rails and pushes the motor forward.

If you have the money for it.. go with the Furitek Esc/Brushless combo and never look back. That’s what I did. The best upgrade I have done to the SCX24. Incredibly precise throttle control and lots of power. I love it.
