| ![]() Whew, can't keep up with FMS/Rochobby. They have what appears to be a 1958 Chevrolet Apache 6x6 available in the Euro market. Never heard of it before, and I am often watching in any event... ![]() Not my cup of tea--would prefer a stock looking 4x2/4x4 with a long or short bed, either step-side or "Fleetside". Looks pretty good actually, although not surprising from FMS. I like the wheel choice they went with too. If this was 1/10 I’d be on it, but I’m honestly not really into the micro scale. Licensed Cooper STT’s! Pretty sweet. Last edited by ScaleLifeNewbie; 08-20-2022 at 05:38 PM. |

1:18 is the smallest I am willing to go and I would have otherwise ignored them if they hadn't had one for sale @$68.99. ![]() I do like a good scale looking operating model. Micro, to me, means it will fit in the palm of your hand. . Last edited by Undead Jeeper; 08-22-2022 at 09:50 PM. |

This would be an excellent base for a utility truck of some sort, since they separated the bed. Could build a flat bed, make a wrecker, or a gooseneck trailer pulling rig... Not a fan of running it as is, with the rear fenders - but a cool release, definitely! |

I could see this cut down to a short bed and one axle gone. Nicely done cab with all the details. ![]() | |

This looks like a great contender for a wrecker, but honestly I'd get just the body if I could and put it on the K10 frame. Just shorten the bed and close up the fender gap a bit to have a factory looking Napco Chevy. Sent from my LML212VL using Tapatalk |

It's a shame that they didn't base this vehicle on the FCX24 platform. It would be a cool second model to that lineup, and undoubtedly perform better.

| ![]() I'm certain that option is feasible, at least as a regular 4x4 using FCX portal axles as they are available for about $13 a piece.

| ![]() True, but I still think a factory FCX24 6X6 should happen. There's at least one out there already that someone built using extra parts.

Well, the FMS Chevrolet Apache 6x6 is now available to the rest of us at FMShobby.com $159.99 plus free shipping at this time. The link works but is wrong because it says "Chevrolet K10" in it: https://www.fmshobby.com/products/fm...et-k10-rtr-red EDIT: And of course at Amazon, somewhere. ![]() Last edited by Undead Jeeper; 09-19-2022 at 12:23 PM. |

Running video, and unboxing review, etc etc by that Tomley RC guy: Kind of disappointing in that he never really seems to know all that much about the product. ![]() EDIT: It dwarfs the 1/18 Cheyenne Jeep 6x6 in height but not length. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2_qOAp86VY Last edited by Undead Jeeper; 09-18-2022 at 09:40 PM. |
