Suspension : Front - Factory upper links , MOFO 50.5mm high clearance brass (1.5mm shorter than stock cleared up driveshaft binding at full droop). Shocks : Power Hobby 48mm double barrel mounted upside down on the outside of the chassis and relocated to the lower battery tray screw location . Lightest springs used on front . Rear - Factory 52mm lower links used as upper links , MOFO 69mm Deadbolt aluminum trailing arms used as lower links . Nick at MOFO said they wouldn’t work . Same 48mm shocks as front , medium spring on left DS , heavy spring on right PS . I found the heavy spring in the right rear helped the torque twist on steep inclines . I drilled holes in the chassis lower than the factory upper shock mounts. Last edited by NWCT24CRAWL; 06-02-2023 at 07:21 PM. Reason: Changed shock size they are 48mm . |

Front axle - Treal 18g brass knuckles , Injora brass steering links , brass servo horn , +5mm brass hex extensions and 10g diff cover . Injora aluminum wheels with brass weights. Emax servo , aluminum servo mount . Rear axle - Treal 10g brass knuckles , Injora aluminum steering links , aluminum diff cover , brass hex extensions ,factory servo and mount . No brass in rear wheels . Both axles are under driven 33% with Injora 1/12T gears . Transmission is Power Hobby 15% front over drive . The current Injora 050 Pro motor will soon be swapped out for a MOFO Torque Beast 50 and steel spur gear . The front driveshaft is factory , the rear driveshaft is from the Gladiator. I had a Deadbolt driveshaft but it was wobbly at the slip joint . |

Nice! Those wheels are sexy on that rig and woah those are beefy long arms. Makes em look way longer than 69mm. I'd love to have those tires but pretty sure OD would kill that idea. Great looking rig and pics. Nice body too fwiw.

| Re: My stretched AX24 . The tires and wheels are Injora . The tires are 64mm x 24mm rock terrains . They work very well . I have not vented the wheels yet . The tires do rub the rear lower shock mounts slightly if the stock servo turns them that far .

Ran into an abandoned Gladiator on the trail and picked up some accessories.

My build was done long before any after market suspension or chassis parts were available for it . I am very happy with how it performs with the suspension set up.

| Re: My stretched AX24 . My wife’s JLU has the V2 ( blue color ESC ) and yep it does a much better slow crawl . The AX24 ESC gives a high pitched ring then jumps when you try to slow crawl .

| Re: My stretched AX24 . Did that Torque Beast 50 bolt right in or did you need to sand/Dremel anything? That’s the motor I’d like to put in mine also. Thanks, and nice job on your AX!

Bolted right in . Stock motor bracket . It’s a tight fit in the AX chassis, If I remember correctly I decided to keep the positive motor connection mounted away from the rear link attachment , the nut is very close to the motor connections.
