Visitor Alert!

Youth Deer Hunt October 30-31, 2010

Visitors should be aware there will be a two-day youth deer hunt at Banning State Park October 30-31. Limited areas of the park will be open to visitors on these dates, and blaze orange clothing is recommended when hiking the trails. Canoe campsites on the east side of Kettle River and "Hell's Gate Rapids" portage trail will be closed October 29-31, 2010.

so were orange or antlers( only if you can run really fast).
I was looking on line if you check out the map and the area is south of the rapids. NOt sure where area 965 is But I am still looking. Looks like only 6 tags where given out for this area.

On the road. Looks like it should be a nice day.

Baller is freaking out about this trail of smoke in the sky. I'm trying to convince him that we are bombing Wisconsin.

"Water proof"... lasted Quite awhile, tell the servo gave out and made my receiver pissed off. Then replaced the servo and by that time the motor had so much mud and dried crud packed the the brushes that it wouldnt run Happy to report that when I got home everything dried out and cleaned up and truck works 100% again. NO issues at all fired right up works like a champ.. Too bad it didnt happen while we were still there.. Next time I will have more time before hand and water proof the servo the right way.

Forgot my camera on the counter this morning so no pics from me. Still had a great day cant wait to do another scale run... humm spring time when there is still a little snow???
