Those stompers need to have the lug height sanded down to about 1/2 the original height IMO.

We finally got the local hobby shop in Hutchinson, KS interested in crawling, and they had 17 tons of rock delivered to build an indoor course! Here's a link: Indoor Crawling at HP Hobbies--Hutchinson, KS A few of us are heading down there this weekend to start moving some rock indoors, and I'll try to snap a few pics of the layout and report back.

This would be bad a**...Looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

If youre going to buy a serious airbrush right away then make sure you buy a dual action and that it either comes with various size tips or that they can be purchase them seperately. I started off with a Badger 350 model, its a decent starter for $50 even though its only a single action but with a Large, Medium and Fine tips available I got alot of good use out of it.
Brand wise stick with Paasche and Iwata. Maybe Badger too?

I used Badger 150 for a long time and it was a really nice piece for use on the RC bodies.

Ive got either the 150 or 250 and for a $25 hobby lobby item it does just fine for the bodys I paint but their not fancy paint jobs either. Usually just one or 2 colors plus the backing color.

Yup. Just looked it up. My el cheapo is the 250. Nothing fancy but works fine for putting color on bodies that are just gonna get rock rashed all to hell anyways.

Guys,
I just got back from HP Hobbies in Hutchinson, KS, and it looks promising! A few pics are posted here http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...57#post1507057. The hobby shop, pits, tracks and crawling area are smoker friendly. I know it's 225 miles from Lees Summit, but we're hoping to make it worth the trip!

Thanks,
Billy

Hey guys, I need some help here.

I need something built and don't have the tools to do it. I need an enclosure built for my CNC.

It just needs a base that I can bolt the machine to and three side (possibly a front too but I am not 100% on that yet.

I can give you detailed dimensions. I want a 3/4" wood base, and the sides can be pretty much whatever, plexi would be great.

I am sure I can get you taken care of with parts or cash. Just let me know if any of you guys have any time to tackle it.

Thanks guys

Hey Dez,
I didn't see to many people actually smoking, but the ones that were were few. so I think it would be a good place for the non-smokers as well.

I'd build you something if you weren't so far away.

Cool, I'm no anti smoking nut, but in some cases, if the building is small and there are multiple smokers, it gets pretty tough on us non-foggers.

You get what you pay for. I've had Badger, Pasche, Testors, etc. None compare to this:

Yep, its pricey. But if you're serious and want something trouble free for years, its the ONLY way to fly.

You'll also need a good compressor, water filter (not just a trap) and a good regulator. Not to mention a decent spray booth.

Hope this helps.
