Heater wasn't working at my shop and it's freaking Antartica out there! So I didn't get over there to sandblast all the 6x6 parts.
Since I was just hiding out at home I decided to work on another small detail for this project So far I'm just calling it "fire ant"

I'll let the photos speak for themselves:

You disassembled the beadlocks. Of all things to do. Those are no fun at all to put together. They slip right on, but is the 200 screws that scare me.

You need to start at the end of the thread and read to the begining to understand what is going on.

.

A artic freeze (-18 here) is what happened and kept me out of my shop to bead blast every part so I can paint them white (can't have a red and black firetruck) after a couple hours of breathing alum oxide here's the results

.

Don't those blackwells look awesome blasted!

Small update on the fireant:

Got it running and painted bright fire engine red!

Mounted the camera using a Revo rod end so it will swivel and go up and down.

.

Now I'm working on the "turret" to hide the camera
