Sure took a long time to blast this whole thing and then paint (3 coats of primer and 3+ coats of Tamiya pure white)

Finally got it back together so now it's time to really get busy!

Here's some pix:

Now that is really interesting and setting it off. Now you have my attention. If RC4WD did this to some of their wheels and chassis kits. It would be a serious seller. Way to do it up brother.

Thanks!

I really thought that white would make it stand out not to mention you can't have a red and black firetruck

The ones that they use at Airports are very similar.

Oh man, that looks great!! If I may so bold as to make one suggestion? Would it be possible to sand off the paint from the swept part of the brake discs? I think it would really set it off in a good way.

Rig looks great! Keep it up!

This is the look I'm kinda after. I want to incorporate the RC4WD bumpers which wil make it hard for the front. It will have a full body and opening back for the "fireant" with control center

time for you to start using meth so you can get this beast done!

also, you may want to check out the bruder line of toy trucks! you could use their cab as a starting point!
not sure how it would fit but....
http://cgi.ebay.com/Bruder-Trucks-Fi...item25606989aa
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/BRUDER-FIRE-TRUC...item43a53fd6b5
ether one would make for a nice cab! and the second one has a tank and water pump!!!!

I can't believe what a difference painting the wheels white made for the overall look of this rig! I think white should be a new optional color for those wheels.

Looking forward to seeing this at RCX.

Just curious, can you move the links inside the chassis and inside the mounts?
