Took it out for a little test yesterday. Another snafu A couple minutes in I saw that all the tires were wobbling. Turns out the bead on the backside of all 6 tires popped out. They were a real pita to bead up in the first place but I thought I had it...nope. The lip on the rear of the wheel is tiny and the tires are wide with fat stiff foams. At a loss for a remedy I reached out to Durok for some suggestions. One of the ideas was to trim the foams on the inside edge. I put the internal ring in the foam and traced it. Then took an outside ring and traced that on the outside. Cut diagonal, with a serrated knife, between the lines. So I did one and the thing mounted as it should. Seems to be tight and ready to go. I just got done doing the rest so hopefully I can give it a real shakedown tomorrow. Fingers are crossed... |

Nice solution to an annoying problem. I had the same issues with those wheels at first with the stock landmine foams. I’ve since swapped to CI dual stage but I hope this works out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
