Look, everyone is so damned worried about crawling "right now", believe me I would love to do so myself. But having to get set up for the Midwest Challenge is going to be time consuming. We need to get this done and it has to be done well. Some people here have never even been to a pro-level comp and cannot possibly comprehend the abilities of some of the people and rigs coming in to compete. It can't be half-assed, plain and simple. Therefore we need people to help with the build; and if that takes away from time to crawl, then that's what needs to happen.

Believe me when I say that we will be getting together afterwards and having a ball. We formed this club to organize and set dates for events, be it a simple trail run or a full scale comp. Anyone who has been out as a group will tell you that we have a blast. The core of this hobby is having fun while taking on some challenging terrain, building and tweaking, and poking fun at me.

So everyone just calm down, have a corndog and a smile. I love you all.

I am somewhat new to this sport, i have rock crawled longtime ago with a modified clod, but using new R/Cs nowadays is fun. I am willing to help build just need to know what to do. I will be at the plex tonight trying a few setups on the crawler. I noticed alot of people are club members, just don't know if i want to be in one since the clubs i have been in the past with have went belly up or turned into a "If you don't follow our rules on running then get out" style i got out of them. So if someone wants to help me setup something and talk to me about club member, I am GAME

Look guys Im sorry for getting upset thats not my intention's But everyone needs to understand that we took on a huge load by hosting the 2.2 comp & it need's to be a great comp! So sorry about the tuesday night thing we have been at gerames shop tuesday,thursday & saturdays to get this thing going!! So again i am very sorry for the crabbiness but its been a stressful three months & trust me when this thing is done we will be crawling every week

& after the comp I promis we will get t-shirts made!!

i am at work and my crawler has a drive shaft issue that needs to be fixed or i would love to be there. just a suggestion Is there room at gerames for more people on tues. if so then why dont people meet there help build awhile then do some crawling to test them.

i think some of the complaining is also that these people are so new that to help build a course is hard to do if you are not sure of how it works and they feel they need practice for the comp. thats why if tues everyone was at gerames it would give them a little of knowledge and practice.

I paid my club dues and don't mind that all focus right now is on the upcoming comp. I think it's important to make that a success. Besides, week nights just don't work for me. So, you probably won't see me there on Tuesdays but I'll be showing up for other stuff from time to time. Now, where is the fast forward button so I can speed up the clock up till March 14....
