Well sorry for being a ghost lately, I tend to do that from time to time if you haven't noticed. This last time was because of work, We just got a new class of students in a few weeks ago and well when a bunch of new pilots get in jets tend to break and that makes for a busy me. that with being in the middle of selling my truck and finding a new one.

Lil updates. currently working on a trade for a set of 1.9 mayhem wheels for the truggy so I can go back to my proven 1.9 flat iron set up that made my XJ so deadly. hopefully that will help get my truggy a lil more planted. Itll be nice to be able to side hill again haha.

As for the Dakar build. the truck is up and driving. now comes body and scale stuff. Idk if im gonna run the SC wheels on it or some light 1.9s. Big thing is keeping rotating mass down as Iv already nuked the diff and its just holding on by JB weld now lol

Alex I have a new set of flat irons g8 compound that came with my wheels, I bought 1.9 swampers so just took them off right away.

I remember when we tried to get together and it never happened, then you got out, now we have tons of people. We need you back.

On a side note, Got my 1.9s today, just need to get some stick ons to weight them and mount up my flat irons, also have the whole front end of my truggy tore down re doing the suspension, going with a three link with panhard bar and ditching the triangulated 4 link. wanted to try something I haven't built before.. Ill get some pics up

as much as i'd love to, i'm not building another scaler. i can never leave them alone and they all end up being $800+ rigs. i tried to quit crawling for a year or more and id always get sucked back in. ive got 1:1 rigs and tattoos to keep me occupied now. i do still have a little 1.9 tuber, not really scale, not really comp, just fun. i'd like to crawl with you guys as long as its on week days or maybe saturdays. i work night shift with wed-thu-fri off.

yeah the only reason why I didn't run CMS from the get go was our clubs lack of scale point system and I was in a hurry to get it running for the comp so i had no time for tuning the links. Work out pretty well tho because I used both the upper links for the panhard bar and drag link since they were both the same length and used the old drag link for the new upper link lol. Personally i couldn't stand having the servo on the axle Its one of those scale things that just bugs the hell out of me.

We are still in our growing stages so we encourage anyone to run whatever they have. We dont have classes right now. Its about having fun at this point and only doin one comp a month for scale and one Dakar. We have lots of people to do weekday crawls.

Alex the new wheels are awesome looking, the front set up looks scale as can be. Now that we are giving scale points everyones hard work on rigs will be rewarded..! I over looked the points for CMS but everyoe will get points who is running servo on chassis.

Rodney I think -2 points for an rc audio system is fair, but am open to hearing other input.
