Got a pack in the rent-a-truck after work... First time in this amazing place, South Mountain in Phoenix, the terrain is literally endless and best of all its only 9 miles from where I work. Scaling is the shizz

Dude that's like 3/256th of a % of the rock there. I would say that there are multiple peaks that rise 1000 vertical feet off the desert floor over a roughly 36 square mile area. Tons of hiking trails and even shaded picnic tables. It would be fun to race some trucks to the top of one of those peaks.

I like it schedule it for like the begining of february and we will call it the "Snowbird Camp & Crawl"
