| Farmington area Wraith guys.....
For those of you with Wraiths or building with Wraith axles, what are your powertrain and width specs? I am currently running 3s, Tekin FXR ,Handwound 35 motor, 20/80 gearing. It does good for crawling, not mush faster then a walk at full speed. I borrowed these electronics from another project, and will be pulling them out soon. I want to be on the same page as everyone else when work slows down and I can make it out. So are you guys just crawling, bashing, or both??? Also, I'm just wondering how the wraith can be a class 3 rig and squeeze through 13" gates? I had to ditch the stock wheels when I upgraded my steering because the rod ends hit the inner lip of my wheels. Now I'm just using stock AX10 wheels that put me at a width of 12.50" I dont mind spending the money on nice wheels to correct this if we are going to have more G6's and use 13" gates. But if we are just going to do the follow the leader stuff I will leave it alone. Always hopeing to make it to the next event..... Cody T. Note sure what the Northern crew runs, but I am running a Novak Goat 2s with a 18.5 motor. So far it seems to be working nice for crawling and just enough wheel speed to keep it interesting. This is all on stock gears.
