NMRCC 2013/2014 Comp #5 Pete's Playground

Sunday, January 19th, Pete's Playground.

Course setup at 9:30, start time will be at 10:00.

Running 2.2p and 2.2s classes. 3 courses per class.

There WILL be tech at this comp. The three things I am checking will be:
Panels/body specs
Wheel base
Width

As for wheel base you will need to be 12.5" or less at ride height. I will not measure the rig squished or stood up. So make sure it is max 12.5" at ride height.

If tech is not passed you will still be allowed to comp. This would be your first warning. If not fixed by the next comp, you will be penalized.

Like I said, I will measure ride height. I realize it can grow when squished. But I don't want anyone to stress about it. Make sure it's 12.5 or less at ride height and I am fine with it. And that's that!!!!

EDIT: front diff exploded...just ordered some oil bushings in lue of the pinion bearings failure to hold up to brushless power...they're going in my EXO/Currie build, too.

Im new to Crawling and I would like to go out to this event. I have a Wraith, will I be able to run any courses or what will I need to do?

The Wraith isn't a crawler, it's more of a "rock racer"...but bring it out and run it around, you'll still have a good time plus you can check out a bunch of really cool comp crawlers as well.

Come check out the crawling and meet the crowd. NMRCC is currently in the crawling comp season which is regulated so that those who wish can qualify for the Sate and competition. For these competitions there are rig limitations and requirements we must comply with so that the scoring can count towards the season.

NMRCC also will be having some really good scale events in a few months and your wraith will be perfect for those. Check out last years fun in the previous Hammerdown, G6, Drivers Challenge and Trough Truck threads.

Also keep an eye on the NM thread as scale runs come up occasionally too.
