Glad to live in the stix. Don't like the city life...lived in the Bronx for almost 3 years. Conveinient to get to places, lots of options, but country is better.

Hey Guys. Im in Freedom NY. About an hour south of buffalo. I help run WNYRCRC. We are a local rock crawling club. We have been doing comp stuff for years. I am starting up the scale side of the club this year. I want to do a couple scale comps this summer. I am also looking to do some ttc challenges also. Let me know . Id be willing to travel around . Scale runs in Letchworth or Genesee county sound fun.
We have about 3 or 4 guys right now. Would love to get a goof group together.

Cool I'm registered on that forum as HiEYEamKevin

I look forward to some new RC adventures this comming warmer seasons. Gotta get my truck back together though I've spent the last month rebuilding the axial transmission...gosh I haven't found time for it very much recently with the holidays...now things are wrapping up though...its good we can sorta network on the forums though!

Guys

I just joined the forum here. I live in Arkport, NY about 20 minutes from Naples and 45 minutes from Rochester: 2 hours from Buffalo. I just started into scale crawlers and trail rigs, but started in RC over 20 years ago racing on the dirt oval. I would love to get together with some people from the area.

Some places I know close to me with nice rocks/trails:
Naples-Grimes Glen
Dansville-Stony Brook State Park
Arkport- Arkport Dam

Anyone besides me mobile? What spots can we likely throw down some tire tracks? I am fine travelling, or even providing someone a lift to a spot.

I'm in Hunt, NY, and occasionally travel out to trail outside of Naples with bash/crawl from the forum.

This weekend I'd like to hit StonyBrook in Dansville if the trails are open yet. I gotta check tomorrow.

Also been hitting up the mt morris dam area.

I'd be in for some scaling. I'm in Freedom NY. I've been to Letchworth several times. Never with a RC truck though. I still have a lot of snow here. Been rebuilding some and building other trucks. I'll definitely need to get some testing in before August.

Same here. I still have more to do with mine, but its ready to hit the trails!

Only places I've been with RC is Naples at a friends place, and a small park out there. I have a number of trails I'm opening up right at home, and the creek down the road has been a fun challenge. Last years trail footage was down there, and around Naples

Sounds cool. I'd like to get over your way. I do have a sidekick. My 3 1/2 year old son. He has a stock dingo. He drives pretty well for his age.

Awesome! My 2 n a half year old daughter is sorta in training still working on the controls. Does wnyrc.com have any plans for getting in with the tapatalk forum app? My phone is my primary access port, I have RCSparks, and RCCrawler on there...wishing SBG would be on there too!

Count me in for any scale comps or TTCs this season!

I am mostly on RC crawler. I will post club activities on both. But I check RC crawler every day.

Yeah I have Friday off so I think I'm heading out to Naples area.

Gonna pack some gear so I can test my VXL SCX-10 on the trails after work tomorrow!

Had a great time trailing after work, and yesterday more trails to test the vxl system in my scx10.

Last night I drove out to KRZ Raceway in Batavia where I met up with sb4pro...MJ. He brought along his shelf queen trophy truck, this thing is SWEET!
