| axial scx10 questions
first off let me say that i reallly like the scle look thing so thats why im going after the scx second off im new to rc crawling. so my question is, how much differnt is the scx vs the ax, in crawling situations... also is the axial stuff pretty durable . |

Well it is like comparing apples and oranges. The SCX10 is a scale truck and the AX10 a comp truck. That being said you really cannot compare the two. If you are wanting a scale truck the SCX10 is the easiest way to go. It is a VERY capable scale rig...

Id agree with 1rc monster, they are very capable sometimes im suprised by the lines they can pull. Also they are very durable, as long as your reasonable. But if you break something there are plenty of metal parts to choose from.

Buy both, use one as a scale rig, and the other as a comp. rig The scx uses 1.9 tires and the ax uses 2.2 and can be made to look more scale(ish) |

| the are lots of kit but the only thing thats gonna brake is the drive shafts axial stuff is extremely durable and i have an ax-10 and love it! its a comp truck and my friend has the scx-10 and it has smaller tires for scaleness and it crawls verry well for a scale rig and im thinking about getting one soon or doing an x-trail chassis |

ok the more i look into this stuff, the more i want to build my own rig... but the scx10 looks like the fastest way ?

so im so stoked right now, i just got a axial ax10 kit off ebay for 150 bucks shipped, its a little used but its a start, now to get my scx chasiss and ill be on my way... i will have to say this site is super full of information..

The SCX-10 is a very nice starting place . They can be build stock or customized .Eithr way you can't go wrong with one . Mine will have a full roll cage, sliders and bumpers . very nice, are you guys just brazing theese tubes with a torch and solder ?or a bad ass soldering iron and sanding it down ?
