| what drive type is better??
I am just wondering which drive type is better for crawlin. What i mean is having individual drive motors on the axles better or worse that having a single drive motor that connects everything via a drive shaft?? Also if you run individual drive motors on the axles can you still use a pistol grip style transmitter?? |

Both have their pros and cons. It is really just personal preference. I run a Motor On Axle based truck and still use my pistol grip transmitter (DX3R). |

You're going to find that both camps, MOA & Shafty, will swear by their choosen setup. As stated above both have pros and cons. It all comes down to what fits your driving style. As a newbie to crawling I drive a shafty and like it, but I do see some Berg's that make me think twice about getting one. |

It really depends on what transmitter you are referring to. On my MOA bully: Beetlejuice Bully Build I am using one ESC and have the ability to turn a motor on or off with a switch on my DX3R using a PUNK RC Dig Switch. Some folks prefer to use a stick radio and dual ESC setup and control each motor seperately, but I am not good with stick radios... |

I really think moas work better but a shafty won the last comp I was at. It really is driver, driver, driver And I use a pistol with dual esc on moa. |
