tires, wheels, shocks, links or leafs springs, axles, chassis, ESC, TX.RX, motor, tranny, drive shafts, body, battery, some screws and bolts, some nuts really the only differance between scale and comp is chassis, shocks (scale is shorter) and body, oh and scales have to be shafty |

transmitter and receiver. it sounds like your a beginner to rc. Maybe look into somehting like the axial scx10 trail ready http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/scx10tr/index.html it comes ready to run and is a agood reliable capable starting point, then as time goes on and you learn more you can start to change parts around and upgrade and tune the rig to suit your terrain and driving style Last edited by ultimate_monkey; 10-29-2009 at 08:08 PM. |

| tranny=transmision, the thing the motor goes into and the driveshafts come out of. Building a truck (be it comp or scale) from the ground up requires some know-how, and the ability to modify parts to fit. Honestly i think your much better off starting with a axial trail ready...

tranny- transmission, on your ax10, the tranny is the centered gear box with the drive shafts attached and also the motor and motor plate bolted to it. looks like this if you have the instruction booklet that came with the ax10 i suggest you read threw it, it will show you every part in the truck, where it goes, and how it goes togeather |

yes all the orange tubes are the "links" there should be 4 per axle, and locked axles give you moer traction but you loose the ability to make super tight turns,
