what servo, esc and truck do you have??? i have this issue running 2 servos with my esc, if im turned to full lock front and back the truck wont drive. as soon as i let off the rear steer it runs just fine. i believe in my case the bec in the esc cant supply the current to hold the 2 servos at full lock. |

| Would an external BEC still be better than running an internal BEC? |

| I took the advice and got a CC BEC. Took a little while to wire it up properly, but I did figure it out. I took it for a test drive and noticed a marginal difference. The ESC no longer takes a S!!it when I'm in a bind, but the steering is not much stronger if any. Any suggestions? |

| So, I took my servo apart and made sure everything is running well and lubed everything. Put it back together and now I have strong responsive steering. |

it can happen with any type of battery not just lipo, just most esc's that can handle 3s lipo need a bec to keep the temps down

No , a BEC is needed . I run what I think is the best ESC [Tekin RS Pro] and the internal BEC is not enough . I didn`t think I needed one but once I threw in a 3S lipo it was very obvious .
