| stupid "brazing" question....
okay,so I've sottered and I know how too weld(mig,arc), but this brazing is new too me. what exactly is it? what doo I need too do this as far as "rod" and that type of stuff? also,what heating utincile is used too melt the rod down? any information will be greatly appreciated,thanx guys.

Its very easy, use a torch and sliver brazing wire with flux paste. Where ever you buy your welding supplies will have what you need. Look at the tech page about building tube chassis, its really quite good unless you live in small town Canada where they have never heard of Harris saftey Silver 56, but they do have other brands at twice the cost. When you heat up the tubes, do they have to get red hot or is that too hot?

Basically brazing is gas welding/soldering only you use brass filler rod.
