Ebay has some pretty sweet deals on batteries, As far as chargers go i use the Dynamite prophet sport. Its like 30 bucks and its not a bad charger for the money. I dont know a lot about the crawler you bought other than the obvious things like weighting the wheels and lowering the cog anyway you can but im sure you are aware of all that already. Anyway hope this helped some ;) |

Put some lock tight on the set screws on the drive shafts. Otherwise they will be coming off all the time and will not stay tight. Have not had a problem since I did mine.

I actually have both of these chargers, and they both work great. Only thing with the Onyx and lipos is it isn't a balance charger, so you have to have a separate balancer. No biggie, just FYI. | |

I would go to valuehobby.com pick up one of the b6 chargers and some 2s lipos. Once you go lipo you won't go back. I'm tired of cells taking a dump on my nimh and nicd's, plus I like how the power stays up throughout the battery, where as nimh and nicd's dump hard throughout the run. I was nervous about lipos at first with all the horrow stories about blowing up and whatnot, but after I got some and used them, I will NEVER run nimh or nicd's again. So go with some lipos and call it a day |
