| Servo overload protection?
I found a few threads asking what setting to use, but none that actually explain what it is. What is overload protection on the Hitec servos? I have Hitec HS-7950TH and the programmer but not sure if i should leave it off or turn it on. |

Since it is set to off by default i just leave it there on my 7980 TH servo. I think the function are more or less invalid for use in a crawler enviorment ? |

| Hitec HPP-21 Review Buy that programmer and use it. The servos last much longer and perform consistently over the life of the servo. I have mine set to 30% but I guess I could go less on the overload protection. I run my servos at 7.4V though and have the dead band width set to 3. I have never burned up a servo since getting the programmer and using it on all my programmable servos. |

Hmmm sound advise I will order the hardware and recode mine cuz it have plenty of power out of the box, i will be willing to trade off a little performance for a longer lasting servo. |
