That charger charges at 700mah (.7amps) and you have a 600mah battery so you need a charger that will charge as low as .6 amps (or 600mah). Charging a 600mah battery at 700mah probably won't hurt it, but that's a risk you'd have to be willing to take yourself. With a battery that small, charging it a slightly higher rate may shorten the overall life expectancy of the battery. Personally, I wouldn't have a problem with risking it.

But, if you plan on getting into bigger crawlers with bigger batteries, that charger will be pretty much worthless; it would take forever to charger bigger batteries.

Hey K_B, what charger do you suggest i get then? Well, i kinda don't mind charging the battery with that charger but i dont want to compromise the life of the battery.

Lots of guys get chargers from www.hobbyking.com but I don't have any personal experience with those chargers. My next charger will most likely be this one:

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=HTC44151

But that may be overkill for you. And I think you can get the same thing from HobbyKing for cheaper. This is another charger with a good reputation:

https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...ns&pn=DTXP4235

Again, it's considerably more money than the one you linked to, but it will charge ANYTHING and the charge rate is adjustable for just about any size battery.

At the very least, I recommend getting a charger than can charge lipo (obviously) and has an adjustable charge rate.

I believe this is the popular HK charger:

Get yourself a cheap 12V DC power supply capable of at least 5A and get a Accucel 6 charger from hobbyking. Hobbyking is located in hong kong and ship worldwide, I've ordered from them many times and never had any problems.

If you have an old PC power supply around or can get one cheap then here is a great guide to turn one into a bench power supply.

Modding a PC Power Supply into a 12 Volt Supply for your DC charger

I thought they weren't allowed at all, but it looks like they're allowed as carry-on but not allowed in checked bags:

Looks to be the same when traveling from the UK:

However, since lipo batteries do kinda look like explosives, I'd ship 'em.
