| Axial XR10 and Axial AE-2 esc stoopid noobie question
do i need two of these esc's? one for each motor?

depends. you can run one esc and an electronic dig like a punk dig. if you have a radio system capable of dual esc mixing it's best to run two esc's.

Or you can run one ESC and no dig. Kind of defeats the purpose of having an MOA though.
