Why am I being edited so much?

So, obviously I'm new and all but why do half the posts I make require moderator approval? And subsequently why haven't any of them been approved?

I'm not breaking any rules, I'm not posting pictures of videos so image host issues aren't a problem. I'm merely commenting on a thread I started in response to other members comments, by the way, none are negative, bashing etc.

I guess I'm just wondering why the scrutiny, especially when I'm a VERY active member on other hobby sites that most of you guys are on?

Just a guess, maybe they think since you are new you might be a potential spammer?

New member's are always under review to a certain extent, it's in the rules (if you read them)

A lot of new members try to get there post up so they can view the classifieds. Usually when they do this there post has nothing constructive to offer aside from a false pat on the back... They usually read like: neat, awesome, cool, I
Love -full in the blank- etc etc.. If this isn't you pm a mod and plead your case, if your just trying to see the classified pay for the star and support the forum

Yeah I guess I understand padding your post count to get into the classifieds.

which I'm not trying to do, even though I will more than likely utilize them in the future.

I think I'm just more used to less monitored boards so when I see mods that actually give a care I'm thrown off by it lol

The system automatically tags certain posts if they contain links, key words or other marked items until you get over 10 posts. This was put in place to cut down on spammers.

+1 on killing off the obvious spammers.....I try to do my bit to tag them.

Yep, unfortunately you have been collatoral damage of the system. You have done nothing wrong.
