Default How do I extend a SCX10 wheel base?

I need to extend my wheel base from a stock dingo to approx 12" , how do I do it ?

For a 12" wheel base, just use Honcho 106mm links in the rear. That's my set up of choice for 12" wheel base bodies.

Well I just purchased a proline 1980 chevy pickup bod and it has a 12.2" wheel base is why I asked. Would this kit be good for what Im wanting to do ?

Make you own for quarter of that price! 6mm brake line 8/32 all thread and revo rod ends around about 18 bucks!

Yes that would. Or I can hook up up as well, I build stainless link kits for SCX10, Wraith and customs set as well.

Stock ends use 3mm thread.

You would need to drill them out with 1/8" bit, it's possible, but doesn't leave much material left. Revo ends are a better choice and are pretty much a standard when making your own links. That's what I have always used and what come with my stainless links.
